We got to Minneapolis around 1:00 in the afternoon. We were pretty hungry once we parked, so the family hit the streets to find something good. We stayed right on the Nicollet Mall, which is an 11 block portion of downtown with lots of shopping and dining places. It was a really neat area! Great for walking around and people watching.
Travis and I ended up at a place called Hell’s Kitchen for lunch. It was a really unique venue for lunch. It was in a basement and had a lot of creepy artwork. Since we were there on a Saturday afternoon, they had a pretty extensive brunch menu. Travis and I both wanted more lunchy food, so I got the ham and pear crisp sandwich and Travis got the juicy lucifer.
Take a look and the juicy lucifer when cut into! When in Minneapolis, make sure to get some kind of juicy Lucy!
We stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel. It was a beautiful hotel! The rooms are all suites and the lobby area had some really neat sitting areas. They also give out free warm cookies at the front desk.
